Merry Christmas from the Hutchinsons

It's December 21 and we just returned from mailing our Christmas cards. I realize that most will not be delivered before Christmas Day. I think this is the first year I have been this late. I am not sure why...maybe it's because the temperature in Georgia and in Florida has been about 80 degrees the last couple of weeks, or maybe it's because I am teaching full time this year. I remember thinking that Thanksgiving was very early this year and there was lots of time to get ready for Christmas...where did the time go?

Anyway we do wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Here are some photos to show what we've been doing this year:

David took this photo in August. This is the veiw out our front door...of course the rainbow isn't always there. To see more of David's fishing pictures click here to go to his blog: David's blog

My mother is now living at Heritage Center in Evansville. It is a really nice place. We all went up to visit earlier in the year. I try to keep her scrapbook updated with new happenings and have worked on making pages using many of her old photos.

Hutch loves to help in the kitchen. David is teaching him how to make biscuits in this photo.

Jennifer, Lee and Hutch visited us at the beach in July. Hutch loves to play in the sand. To read more about Jennifer, Lee, Hutch and Maggie click here: Jennifer and Lee's blog.

On August 19, 2006 Hutch became a big brother. Jennifer and Lee became the proud parents of Margaret Lee "Maggie".

Clare lives in Chicago and reports that it's been warm this year...it was 30 degrees last week. She is still dating Joel. They seem very happy together. We just wish we could see them more often. To learn more about Clare's adventures in the big city click here to visit her blog: Clare's blog.

We wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We'd love to have you visit us at the beach.
